Founded in November 2022 by Patricia Foissac and Marie-Pauline de Longueville, Tekoharte grew from their shared interest in Paraguayan culture and their personal connections with the country. Patricia Foissac has lived in Paraguay for more than thirty years, while Marie-Pauline de Longueville lived there for seven years and continues to return regularly.

Tekoharte supports Paraguayan artists by developing their international visibility and recognition. Its patronage model involves purchasing artworks directly, providing fair remuneration, followed by an additional payment to the artist for each work sold.

By presenting their work in Europe, Tekoharte also contributes to the artists’ recognition within Paraguay.
