Founded in Athens in 2020 by Loukia Thomopoulou, Sealed Earth is a Greek gallery dedicated exclusively to contemporary ceramics. Located near the Acropolis, it also develops a nomadic programme across the Greek periphery, particularly the Cycladic islands.

The gallery connects craftsmanship, fine art and design through a programme bringing together emerging and established artists. Experimentation and innovation are central to its approach and to its position within the Greek ceramics scene.

Committed to presenting the richness and diversity of ceramic expression, Sealed Earth seeks to strengthen the medium’s place within the international art market. Through exhibitions, residencies and community engagement, it supports a network of artists, collectors and curators.

Its activities encourage dialogue between tradition and experimentation and connect local practices with an international context.
