OG Gallery
Founded in 2023 by Senem Ozgoren in Istanbul, OG Gallery supports a younger generation of artists in Turkey whose practices engage with questions of art theory, gender, migration, alienation and artistic vision. Its programme brings global concerns into dialogue with the particular sensitivities of the artists’ home country.
Located in Beyoğlu, the gallery seeks to contribute to the renewal of Istanbul’s contemporary art scene. It creates encounters between artists, audiences and academics, supporting experimental practices and developing their international visibility.
Its approach reflects the importance of younger voices in a world transformed by the digital revolution. Through art, the gallery considers their role in responding to these changes and helping society engage with them.
OG Gallery’s programme is guided by an interest in daring artistic practices that challenge familiar expectations. Its exhibitions are conceived as experiences that encourage visitors to question, confront and engage, creating opportunities for new ideas and perspectives. This direction reflects Senem Ozgoren’s commitment to art that moves audiences and unsettles established ways of seeing.
Beyond exhibitions and opening receptions, the gallery aims to function as an active cultural and civic space. Talks, panels, workshops and unconventional gatherings extend its programme and support ongoing exchange within the artistic community.
