LEFEBVRE & FILS

B20 ●

Founded in 1880, Galerie Lefebvre & Fils carries forward six generations of expertise in the arts of fire. Its history is shaped by discoveries, exchanges with museums and longstanding relationships with collectors.

The gallery is directed by Louis Lefebvre, a collector of contemporary art and design. In 2024, he was joined by Lucas Lefebvre, representing the sixth generation, continuing the gallery’s commitment to artistic quality and innovation.

Since 2009, the gallery has given particular attention to contemporary ceramics and the continuing renewal of the medium. It has presented artists including Ettore Sottsass, Ron Nagle, Roger Herman and José Sierra, while supporting a new generation through first solo exhibitions, including Joel Gaitan, Isolina Minjeong, Nick Weddell, Edouard Taufenbach and Bastien Pourtout.

The gallery considers ceramics a fully developed artistic medium and supports works in which gesture, material and intention interact. Louis Lefebvre’s expertise has helped establish its position among collectors and audiences interested in contemporary ceramics.

Located at 24 rue du Bac in Paris, Galerie Lefebvre & Fils continues to work with international contemporary artists, connecting its programme with collectors, curators and audiences interested in art and design.
