Le sentiment des choses

A29 ●

Established around ten years ago, Le sentiment des choses is a gallery based in Paris. Its name refers to the Japanese concept of mono no aware, understood not only through impermanence but also through the harmony between the spirit and the form of things.

This sense of harmony is central to the gallery’s approach. Japan and ceramics occupy a prominent place in its programme, alongside paper, ink, wood and stone.

Its identity is built around connections, resonances and dialogue: between historical and contemporary works, East and West, objects and sculpture, permanence and the traces of time. The gallery brings together artists, works and traditions that might otherwise remain separate.

As a place of discovery, contemplation and exchange, it invites visitors to develop their own perspectives through direct encounters with artworks.
