Ponce + Robles was established in 2013 through the partnership of two Madrid-based gallerists, Raquel Ponce (Madrid, 1971) and José Robles (Madrid, 1963). Together, they bring nearly five decades of experience dedicated to promoting the most current Spanish art, having participated in more than 80 art fairs both in Spain and abroad, including ARCO Madrid, Zona Maco in Mexico City, Art Lima, PArC Lima, Volta Basel, Pinta Miami and Frieze New York. The gallery was founded with the aim of increasing the presence of the Spanish artists they represent in international forums, while also introducing emerging international practices into the Spanish market by contextualising them alongside Spanish art. In this sense, since its inception, the gallery has closely linked its work to Latin America.

Jorge López Galería, founded in 2022, operates from an approach centred on the dialectical framework between Europe and Ibero-America, charting invisible maps and routes that cross the Atlantic and weave complex networks of meaning and belonging. The gallery is a member of LAVAC and of the Consortium of Spanish Contemporary Art Galleries. It has collaborated and carried out exchanges with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Culture of Argentina, the programme Cultura Argentina al Mundo, the Ministry of Culture of Uruguay, the National Directorate of Culture, the Petronas Uruguay Programme, Miguel Hernández University and CIA Centro de Investigaciones Artísticas, among others, thereby reinforcing its commitment to the development and promotion of contemporary art.
